DESCRIPTION:Johnny Appleseed\, as portrayed by Jim Stoner\, will visit the Cross House at 11:00 am to join the Mount Gilead Founder’s Day Celebration! \nThe Cross House\, 85 East Marion Street\, will be open 10 am to 4 pm. \nParts of the Morrow County Genealogical Society’s Rev. Henry Shedd Collection will be on display\, including The Preamble and Constitution of the Mt. Gilead Anti-Slavery Society\, which was signed March 16\, 1840\, in the midst of an egg-throwing mob. \nMany other activities will be taking place in downtown Mt. Gilead throughout the day! \nPlan to attend!
