As the scheduled speaker, Maggie Clark, was ill, President Ann Artrip opened the meeting by asking members to share their current genealogy projects.

Steve Rader said that he has been helping a niece with a family chart and has been exploring Knox County cemeteries.

Mark Arnold told some of the history of the Caledonia Memorial UM Church and its parsonage.

Dave and Donna Ufferman reported they have been organizing family photos to enter into Century Lineage Societies.

Stan Sipe said he has organized folders of his research on Morrow County history from 1824 to 1999. These folders are available for use in the Genealogy Library. He has also been printing historic photos from web sites and these have been added to the folders. He will be speaking on the Involvement of Morrow County in World War I at the May 11 meeting of the Historical Society.

Ann told of being contacted by Daniel Wright, a descendent of Rev. Henry Shedd. Mr. Wright has a box of items from his ancestor that he would like to donate. Phylis explained that Rev. Shedd had organized the local Presbyterian Church, while staying with Mr. and Mrs. George Cross and that his wife had conducted the first school in the village.
