Our place and surrounding vicinity is blessed with the presence of a band of gypsies, who are camped a short distance west of the Station on the land of E.A. Talmage. Quite a number of our young folks, and some of the old, have been out, and had all they ever have done, and all they ever will do, told them, so that now they are posted much better than common people, or those who are too poor to afford to pay fifty cents to learn their future destiny.
William Oliver, one of the old citizens of Morrow County, is no more. He died last Saturday morning, and was interred on Sunday in the Bethel Cemetery. A large concourse of relatives and friends followed him to his last resting place. He was over eighty-two years of age. Peace to his ashes.
The happiest man in town is B.F. Hathaway. He is now performing all kinds of gymnastics for the amusement of his neighbors. The cause is, it’s a great big boy.
