Mount Gilead Founder’s Day Celebration

Johnny Appleseed, as portrayed by Jim Stoner, will visit the Cross House at 11:00 am to join the Mount Gilead Founder’s Day Celebration!
The Cross House, 85 East Marion Street, will be open 10 am to 4 pm.
Parts of the Morrow County Genealogical Society’s Rev. Henry Shedd Collection will be on display, including The Preamble and Constitution of the Mt. Gilead Anti-Slavery Society, which was signed March 16, 1840, in the midst of an egg-throwing mob.
Many other activities will be taking place in downtown Mt. Gilead throughout the day!
